The Investors year came and went.  I’m proud to announce that we had two winning teams this year…one in each season.  Both winning teams were invited to the awards ceremony held at William Patterson University.  There they were given a tour of the business school and introduced to what business school is like.  I was very impressed with the facilities there.

Next year, I hope to get some winners in the Stock Market Game once again.

Allrighty folks…we have begun stage II of the stop motion project.  This is the step where you build your sets and write your scripts.  Unfortunately, some classes won’t get to see me for two days straight, but I have a feeling that you will do a fine job without me.

Next week, be prepared to bring those cameras in and we can start taking many, many, many, many pictures of our scene.  Everything seems to be coming together.  I know this project works in my head.

Lego Me

The release of the podcast this week might be delayed a little.  I went down the shore and forgot to bring my microphone.  ooopsies!!  It should be up by Monday.  There will be an extra credit question in there so listen up!

As the survey results roll in, I found out a few things…everyone is choosing either Ancient Greece or Ancient Rome.  Unfortunately, there can only be one class with Ancient Greece and one with Ancient Rome.  I just may have to choose which class is doing what by pulling out of a hat.

Keep filling out that survey.  There are still a few of you who haven’t completed it.  CLICK HERE to complete.

By the way…do you like Lego Me?!?! That pencil is huge!!

So, there’s this website called Donors Choose.  It matches up donors with classroom projects.  This is a great website for classroom teachers to ask for resources that the school wouldn’t normally supply in order to complete a project.  I’ve seen this work in the past.  It is a great way to match the people who want to give with the people who need.

So, I’ve decided to ask the fine people for a donation.  Please read all about it here. Flip for the Flip!

For those who patiently waited…here is your podcast for the week.  Episode 6 took me a while to get out because of some graduate work that I had to complete, but I finally got it out.  Have a listen.  There is a chance for extra credit in there.
